I was born in Lubbock, Texas. The world I grew up in was windy and there was always different weather blowing in. Naturally, this has had an effect. In my case, it caused me to learn to adjust to different climates quickly and be open to change. I learned that sometimes the wind will blow against you, but you have to just keep going.
I have always enjoyed making handmade cards for different events and holidays. The first time I remember noticing graphic design was when I was about 10. My mom bought a computer program that would allow users to create greeting cards from home. I naturally clung to it and loved creating them every time that I could. However, I actually made the decision to go into design as a career my senior year in high school. Right now, my style tends towards classy clean designs with a modern twist. At this point in time my favorite typeface is Minion Pro. When in doubt, Minion Pro.
I graduated from Texas Tech University May 2015 with a degree in Communication Design. The four years that I spent in college stretched me and pushed me far beyond my comfort zone. My love for design grew exponentially and I am so excited for the new opportunities that lie ahead.
